Demi Moore will be playing a porn-hating Gloria Steinem in Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman’s new film “Lovelace”. The film is a biopic of porn star Linda Lovelace, a woman who rose to fame in the porn industry in her early life, but spent her latter years fighting against it.
Moore’s role, which is being described as a “cameo” depicts Steinem’s life as an anti-porn activist who spent a large portion of her career rallying people against the porn industry.
The film currently stars Amanda Seyfried in the title role with support from Peter Sarsgaard, Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Wes Bentley, Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick and Romeo Brown. James Franco’s name has also resurfaced in recent weeks to play Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner.
“Lovelace” is presently in production in Los Angeles. Hopefully the Gloria Steinem role will give Demi Moore a different kind of publicity than she’s been getting lately, since reports of her marriage troubles hit the net in full force.
