James Franco May Play Hugh Hefner In Biopic Of Linda Lovelace

James Franco’s may appear as Hugh Hefner in Lovelace, a biopic of Linda Lovelace.

Amanda Seyfried plays Lovelace in the film, which shows the woman who starred in highly popular porno, Deep Throat.

Peter Sarsgaard will play her husband, Chuck Traynor, and Hank Azaria as will play Jerry Damiano, the director of Deep Throat.

Also in the cast will be, Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Wes Bentley, Romeo Brown, and Robert Patrick will play Lovelace’s father, John.

Franco, who was originally going to play Traynor, reportedly would only appear as cameo of Hef only if dates work out. The “Pine Express” star and his reps have been talking with producers around the timing of the shoot, but not yet set a date.

The production of the film started earlier this week, in Los Angeles.
