Basketball Wives star Laura Govan brightened the lives of students at Oakland’s Edna Brewer Middle School & Oakland High School over the weekend. On behalf of her fiance Gilbert Arenas’s foundation Zero Two Hero Foundation, Laura provided monetary donations to over 25 students, spoke to seniors who average a 4.0 GPA and also shared her experiences as an alumni and growing up in Oakland and earning her masters degree in Psychology.
According to a press release The Zero Two Hero Foundation which was started by Arenas in 2005 is a non profit organization that helps promote the safety and well-being of children by raising funds to support organizations that aid in the preservation of families through foster care, adoption, and child welfare services, as well as helping the homeless.
