Jimmy Fallon brought the ’90s back last night on Saturday Night Live. Fallon hosted the show for the first time since he was a cast member and cameos from such legendary favorites as Rachel Dratch, Amy Poehler, Horatio Sanz, Chris Kattan, Tracy Morgan, and Tina Fey were featured in the holiday-themed episode. Jude Law also made an appearance. Being a veteran, Fallon seemed at home on the sketches and his presence definitely added to the warm, fuzzy, holiday feeling. Watch some of the best SNL skits of the night below and let us know which were your favorites and which ones bored you.
Michael Bublé’s Christmas Duets
This ensemble of celebrity impressions including Jimmy Fallon’s Justin Beiber and Jay Pharoah’s Kanye West will keep you grinning all the way through. The Lady Gaga impression will definitely make you chuckle.
Everybody will be talking about this homecoming sketch on Monday. Fallon, Tina Fey, and Amy Poehler had a little Weekend Update anchor reunion with current Update anchor Seth Meyers for a no-holds-barred joke-off. Most of the jokes were mediocre at best, but the concept was impressive along with the female anchors hilarious buzzer sounds.
Andy Samberg’s dead on Nicolas Cage impression was very entertaining, but this should not come as a surprise.
Starting off slow, this sketch becomes hilarious around the time that Andy Samberg lets Jimmy Fallon spit in his face. The two actors play off and imitate each other to create a mirror effect.
Kristen Wiig was hilarious as Kathie Lee Gifford especially with the persistent brutal mocking of costar Hoda Kotb’s sex life. Things got even better when Fallon’s dead-on Regis Philbin joined the action.
