Charlotte Gainsbourg is in talks to star in Lars Von Trier’s freak of the year movie ‘The Nymphomaniac’, an explicit exploration of a woman’s erotic life. ‘Nymphomaniac’ is an ambitious project that will show a lot of sex and philosophy on the sexual evolution of a woman, from birth to 50.
Get a load of the breakdown of how this raunchy production is being released: There will be a soft-porn version released for mainstream distribution, then a full blown hardcore version for the sexually radical audience. Outside of America, in places like the United Kingdom, Russia, Poland and pretty much all of Europe, ‘Nymphomanic’ has already generated a following that has pre-orders in an amount that exceeds production budget. Needless to say, this production is getting done.
Production is slated to start next summer/fall.
