Monica, Lloyd And Other Highlights From 'A Very BET Christmas'

BET hosted their annual holiday special ‘A Very BET Christmas’ with noted R&B singers covering Christmas classics with a twist. Monica Brown covered ‘O Holy Night’ telling the audience,

“I sang ‘O Holy Night’ which was a song that my aunt sang for many years, but I did the Yolanda Adams version because she’s somebody that’s inspired me over the years.”

Newcomer Elle Varner also performed ‘This Christmas’, while veteran Lloyd was inspired by Michael Jackson with ‘She’s All I want For Christmas.

“It was my turn to take a stab at all the great Christmas music I grew up listening to. It was people like Michael Jackson, like Sam Cooke who really inspired me to want to do this in the first place,” said Lloyd.

Robin Thicke also performed ‘White Christmas’ and .Merry Christmas’. Check out a few performances below:
