Bradley Cooper has recently join the campaigner that say People magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ honor should have gone to Ryan Gosling. The awarded “Hangover” star does not believe that he should have won the honor.
The actors says, “It’s the worst! I’m finally at an age — I’m 36 years old — where I really don’t care about anything like that anymore, which is a wonderful thing. Then this happened and then I started to realize just how not sexy I am.”
A small crowd of Gosling fans gathered outside People magazine’s office in New York City and chanted “Bradley Cooper is just fine, but Ryan Gosling is divine” after Cooper was crowned.
“There was such a backlash,” said Cooper, who co-stars with Gosling in new film “The Place Beyond the Pines.” “Ryan and I were both in Paris this last week and a friend of mine showed me photographs from the paparazzi . And when I say ‘friend,’ I mean me, alone in my room, looking at the computer,” said Cooper. “And it’s like him walking around and he literally looks like he’s in a photoshoot, like he just came off the runway … There are [photos] of me, and I literally look like the neighbor who never really comes out of his house, and when he does, you’re like, ‘Maybe you should just stay in.’”
Cooper mentioned that be awarded the prize makes him think a little diferent. “I have a lot of moments where [I’m] walking out and I’ll open up the door [and think], ‘I could do that a lot sexier.’”
