Meet the new cast members of Basketball Wives below. Meeka Claxton is gone and forgotten but that doesn’t mean VH1 and Shaunie O’Neal are refraining from searching for new blood. On the red carpet of the Soul Train Awards, Tami Roman questioned why any sane woman would want to be a part of their madness noting, “The should know we’re not wrapped to tight.”
Meet Kenya Bell (right) and Kesha Ni’cole Nichols (left). Kenya Bell list her credentials on her website, kenyabell.com. A former Miss Michigan USA, a mother of 2 children, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA and a singer. Kenya also notes that because she has spent years helping her now soon-to-be ex husband achieve his goals she’s now working on her own goals. One of which appears to be jumping into the drama of Basketball Wives. According to TMZ, Kenya has casted herself as the villain after several fights with the girls. It doesn’t help that Kenya was arrested earlier this year for attacking her husband, basketball player, Charlie Bell. Kenya has maintained her innocence.
Next up is Kesha Ni’cole Nichols, a former New Jersey Nets dancer who was left at the alter by her fiance, San Antonio Spurs player Richard Jefferson who called off the wedding via email. In an interview with Good Morning America in 2009, Kesha revealed she and Richard spoke about possibly ending the wedding earlier in the week but decided to sleep on it before making the final decision. So the email the following day wasn’t a shock. Kesha only has kind words for Richard who also ponied up a six figure sum to “help her move on.” Interesting.
Reportedly, Kesha is getting along swell with her cast mates unlike Kenya. Are you ready for season 4 of Basketball Wives?
