At a recent after-party, Martin Scorsese “warned” his viewers that his latest movie ‘Hugo’ is family-friendly. “It’s a warning. It’s a family film, I am telling you that right now.”
The film is not typically the style that the movie director usually shoots. Scorsese is known for directing violent classics such as “Raging Bull,” “Taxi Driver,” “Goodfellas,” “Casino,” and “The Departed”.
‘Hugo’ is a 3D adventure drama film based on Brian Selznick’s novel The Invention of Hugo Cabret. It is directed by Martin Scorsese and written by John Logan. It is a co-production of Graham King’s GK Films and Johnny Depp’s Infinitum Nihil. The film stars Asa Butterfield, Chloë Grace Moretz, Ben Kingsley, Sacha Baron Cohen, Ray Winstone, Emily Mortimer and Jude Law. Hugo is called Hugo Cabret in France(Wiki).
The movie opens in theaters nationwide today(November 23).
