Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes and Sheree Whitfield can pat themselves on the back for receiving the highest season premiere opener of the franchise. Of course it comes at the price of drama. Sheree accused NeNe of going behind her back to make a deal with a promoter named Tyrone. During their face off, Sheree called the promoter directly on speaker phone and he confirmed NeNe called him directly.
NeNe tells S2S magazine exactly why she didn’t speak with Tyrone directly – and it’s hilarious!
“As a celebrity or a personality or a reality star, or whatever you guys want to call it, I never speak for myself.” Really NeNe?
“If you guys called and wanted me to appear at an event, you wouldn’t talk directly to me. So, the person never spoke to me, they spoke to my assistant, which was Diana.” So Diana acted on her own without NeNe’s approval? Leakes added further,
“I don’t need to backdoor anybody on our cast. I do very, very well for myself,” she said with a chuckle. “I don’t need to take out of anyone’s pocket. I’m not a shady person … My appearance fee is way higher than [Sheree’s].”
And if that didn’t drive the point home, NeNe added, “I’m looking at her like, ‘Mm-hmm. B!#ch please! I can put money in your pocket.'”
