Actress Jessica Chastain has been cast to play Princess Diana in a biopic. The movie will primarily be about the Princess of Wales’ alleged romance with a Pakistani heart surgeon.
The film’s name is “Caught in Flight”, which will reportedly show a side of Princess Diana’s life that is largely unknown.
According to sources, in 1995, the Princess met Doctor Hasnat Khan at the Royal Brompton Hospital. The two became friends and then were reportedly together for two years. Some reports claimed she even considered converting to Islam for him. Diana’s nickname for the surgeon was “Mr. Wonderful.”
Diana’s friend Rosa Monckton recalls her relationship with surgeon saying, “She was very much in love with him. She hoped that they would be able to have a future together. She wanted to marry him”.
Princess Diana died in a fatal car crash in Paris August 31, 1997 in an attempt to escape paparazzi. There is no intel on weather the story will play up to the Princess untimely death however it will include the beginning and ending of her secret love affair with Islamic heart surgeon Dr. Hasnat Kahn and lead into her boyfriend at the time of her death who was Dodi Fayed.
“Caught in Flight” will film in Pakistan, Angola, and France and will be directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel.
