Actor Charles "Bubba" Smith Died After Using Weight Loss Product

Today, officials released the cause of death of the late actor Charles “Bubba” Smith.

The weight-loss drug Phentermine contributed to Smith’s death a few months back.

According to sources, an autopsy showed that the police academy star suffered from acute intoxication of the drug along with other conditions.

The 6’7″, 300-lbs Smith had heart disease and up to 75 percent blockage of some blood vessels, along with an enlarged heart.

Smith, who died at the age 66, played Moses Hightower in six Police Academy films.
