The next installment in the well-known action series starring Bruce Willis will premiere in early 2013. John Moore, whose previous credits include ‘Max Payne’ and ‘Behind Enemy Lines’, is directing the movie. Unlike previous Die Hard movies, the fifth movie will take place in Russia. The movie will be called “A Good Day to Die Hard”.
In addition to Bruce Willis, the movie is rumored to include repeat performances from Justin Long, however Mary Elizabeth Winstead has confirmed that she will not return. Fox wasted no time in searching for who to play John McClane. Fox favors Paul Walker for the role, but has not confirmed a reading. In addition Fox is looking at Ben Foster, Paul Dano, Aaron Paul and Milo Ventimiglia for the lead role.
Fans of the action series have been wondering for a while, who will carry the torch after the aging Willis calls it a quit? Willis himself confirmed the possibility in recent interviews when he stated he would do the fifth movie and possibly a sixth, but no others.
