Steve Carral and Jim Carrey are teaming up once again to bring a fresh, new “silly” comedy to the big screen. New Line Cinema has offered a role in the comedy, “Burt Wonderstone”, to Jim Carrey. Carral has already agreed to work on this project by accepting the title role. The storyline features a Las Vegas magician who finds himself playing second fiddle to a hip rival street performer after he and his stage partner go their separate ways. Burt Wonderstone then embarks on a journey, to reclaim his love for magic.
Recently, Jim Carrey has enjoyed success with his role in the box office hit, “Mr. Popper’s Penguins”. Steve Carral left his starring role in “The Office” and most recently portrayed a husband and father of three in the romantic comedy, “Crazy, Stupid, Love”. Steve Carral and Jim Carrey previously provided voices for an animated role in, “Horton Hears a Who!”, as well as playing roles together in “Bruce Almighty”.
