Megan Fox yet again proves that one should give pause when considering tattoos with her recent revelation that her Marilyn Monroe ink may be attracting negative energy.
Although Fox’s epiphany might have proven more effective (and consequently less painful) prior to her receiving the tattoo; Megan now feels that her self adorned, tribute to the tragic starlet may attract energies she would prefer to distance herself from.
When questioned by the Italian magazine Amica regarding her decision, Fox explained;
“I’m removing it. It is a negative character, as she suffered from personality disorders and was bipolar. I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life.”
While one can understand why Megan would want to avoid negativity, it’s difficult to imagine that Ms. Monroe has much to do with it. From her fall out with Hollywood heavy hitter Michael Bay which ultimately led to her being axed from Transformer’s 3, to her speculative romantic, overlap with former co-star Shia LaBeouf, the photo-shopped Botox fiasco, and most recently her movie flop (Passion & Play) which went immediately to DVD; the majority of Fox’s “negative energy” has been primarily derived from mistakes of her own doing.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Megan Fox is hopping to make positive turns in her career with her new Judd Apatow project This Is 40, which also stars Chris O’Dowd and Jason Segal. The movie is rumored to be a spin off film from the 2007 hit comedy Knocked Up which starred Seth Rogan and Katherine Heigl.
Hopefully this project will create a positive turn of events for Megan Fox; if not…she still has plenty of other tattoos she can remove.
