Kim Kardashians West’s concealer line is under fire for its lack of inclusivity. Although the products have yet to hit the mainstream beauty market, social media made it their duty to drag the “Conceal, Bake, Brighten” line for its limited shade ranges after West showcased the KKW Beauty concealers on Twitter and Instagram.

“Those KKW concealers are bad just look at them, black people aren’t orange”

“KKW concealers shade range are trash”

However, Fadiga, who modeled for KKW’s campaign, reportedly defended the cosmetic line and posted a response on Instagram in the comments on the brand’s social media account after people mentioned none of the shades would work on her.

“To end the conversation because you are talking about me ( : I am the « dark black model)… I can tell you that they did not choose me only to pretend; I had the makeup on and It fits perfectly my skin color. I am not wearing any makeup usually so I know when I have it on if it’s good or not and here it was the case, I even keep it on me and went have dinner a friend,” she wrote.

The collection consists of 16 shades, 12 accommodating to lighter skin tones and 4 catering to deeper skin tones. People were also upset with the reality’s star campaign that features a diverse group of women of various ethnicities and ages, but her make-up line reflects indifferently.
