On the Oct. 14 edition of FOX Sports One’s “Undisputed,” acclaimed director Antoine Fuqua talks about his latest documentary, “Forever Brothers: The 71 Pittsburgh Pirates Story,” meeting Denzel Washington and San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick’s national anthem protest.
In the clip, Fuqua says that politicians have essentially dropped the ball by not providing solutions to end police brutality. He believes NFL players should not be risking their livelihoods for protesting an issue important to them.
“It is a shame that when these young athletes have to do that to get attention for something necessary … Politicians should be [protesting]… it’s a disgrace that [players] have to put their jobs on the line.”
