Murder Investigation Movie Based On Biggie Smalls And Tupac Shakur Being Made

Despite the 100s of people who were there, the murder investigations of rappers Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur have managed to be a big mystery. It’s almost as if the two were killed somewhere late at night in the woods with no witnesses. No, neither one of the slain Hiphop stars were killed under such subtle circumstances. The Notorious B.I.G. was shot at the end of a party, which was shut down because of the excessive people who attended, and Tupac was gunned downed in Vegas, in the summer time, which its streets contains plenty of people during that time of the year. So what happen? Why couldn’t the fine police of this country catch the killers of these artists and bring them to justice? It looks as though these questions are about to be answered.

Randall Sullivan’s book LAbyrinth, which exposes the real-life events that surrounded LAPD detective Russell Poole’s investigation into the murders of Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur and among other things has been optioned for a big screen adaptation by Miriam Segal’s British production company Good Films.

In LAbyrinth, the detective investigates the killings of Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G., along with the connection of Death Row Records’ Suge Knight, and the Los Angeles Police cover up.

According to Segal, the film will offer the audiences, “an insider’s look into the real-life world of renegade cops, rival gangs, racial tensions and hip-hop celebrities, and unveils the political nightmare surrounding the still-unsolved murders of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls. The project is a gritty and compelling story that holds great relevance to modern audiences; it’s an extremely exciting venture for us.”

So, will this film finally let the fans into how difficult it is to solve a murder, even with multiple witnesses, or will it emphasize and culminate the corruption that exist within our police institutions in America? Whatever the answer is, it looks as though these details will be exposed when the film hits the big screens.

More details on the film’s progress coming soon…
