Nas Being Sued for $10 Million for Angolan Concert No-Show

Nas is being sued for $10 million (£6 million) by a concert promoter who claims the rapper is responsible for his kidnapping.

The ‘Cherry Wine’ rapper was due to perform in Angola on December 31 2011 but failed to show despite taking the $300,000 up-front payment for the advertised performance.

As a result of his no-show, American concert promoter Partick Allocco was reportedly kidnapped at gun point by local Angolan “concert impresario” Henrique “Riquhino” Miguel, who demanded his money back. Allocco claims he was held ransom by Miguel’s crew for 50 days.

Now, according to TMZ, Allocco is suing Nas for $10 million for psychological, physical and financial damages. He claims he was beaten and threatened constantly by Miguel’s “henchmen” during the 50 days he was held captive.
