Is Kim Kardashian Killing Kanye’s Career, Credibility?

Kim Kardashian may have made millions off her sex tape and public appearances, but her boo Kanye West’s career has only been damaged by the same public stunts.

When it comes to the rap game, it seemed like nobody could stand in Kanye’s way. From publicly calling President Bush a racist, snatching the microphone from Taylor Swift at the VMAs, and even rumors that the he was a Satanic worshiper and member of the Illuminati wasn’t enough to even put a dent in his record sales.

Kimmy K may have changed all that.

Ever since Kimye became an item, Mr. West has been losing his fan base quite rapidly.
Several appearances on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and snapshots with his socialite girlfriend all over the tabloids, Yeezy’s personal life (and his man skirt) have suddenly become even more popular than the “Mercy” rapper himself.

“His personal life is overpowering his music,” one industry insider said. “Every time he plays, people are wondering if Kim is going to be there. It’s not a good thing for him, especially if he wants to be taken seriously.”

Of course, the leather skirt didn’t help fans take him seriously either and it may be the reason that dozens of audience members at the 12-12-12 concert used Yeezy’s performance for their bathroom breaks.

It also seems like Kim’s star power is over shadowing Kanye’s making it impossible for anyone to book the 35-year-old rapper without inquiring about his boo as well.

Mr. West was offered several opportunities to host New Year’s parties in Miami and Vegas, but only under one condition – he had to bring his reality star girlfriend along.

“Kanye was actually offended by the offers,” one source said.

Jay-Z and his BFF had bragged about how easy it is for them to sell out arenas for their concerts, but Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend may have lost his bragging rights.
