NeNe Leakes In Vogue With "New Normal" Cast, Loves Being "GlamMa"

NeNe Leakes strikes a pose along with the rest of the cast from her new show “The New Normal” for Vogue and shares her surprise that she actually loves being a “GlamMa.”

NeNe has officially made the transition from a Real Housewife of Atlanta to being a mainstream Hollywood actress.

Leakes was photographed along with the other “The New Normal” stars including Justin Bartha, Andrew Rannells, Georgia King, Bebe Wood, and Ellen Barkin for a spread in the October 2012 issue of Vogue.

The Atlanta housewife looked stunning in a form fitting Stella McCartney dress and black Giuseppe Zanotti platform heels that only add to her already staggering height.

“Check me out n the October issue of Vogue with my new “New Normal” cast! That’s my girl @EllenBarkin did I say Vogue?” the 44-year-old reality star tweeted after the photo session.

Her transition into true Hollywood stardom was made official when she got the chance to party along side some of Hollywood’s biggest names – including Loretta Devine, Garcelle Beauvais, Tamela Jones, and Tempestt Bledsoe – at the Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy Party at Fig & Olive in LA this weekend.

The outspoken former reality star definitely hit the carpet in style, proving she definitely puts the “Glam” in “GlamMa.”

She just recently became a grandmother after her 22-year-old son’s girlfriend gave birth to the couple’s first daughter.

Bryson, NeNe’s son, and his girlfriend decided to name the young tyke Bri’Asia and ever since then Leakes couldn’t help but shower the new baby with attention and gifts.

“The greatest joy of being a Glam’Ma is that I can totally spoil her and send her back to her mother! I never thought I would be, but I am just overjoyed being a Glam’Ma,” the former Celebrity Apprentice contestant said about becoming a grandmother.

As usual, she is also well aware of what people think about her but quite frankly doesn’t care, especially when it comes to people’s speculations that she is spoiling her granddaughter a bit too much.

“Everybody has to do what works for them and their family,” the Glee guest star explained. “I wanted to buy her everything. I have never had a daughter and always wanted to have one. My son is being the best father he can be at 22 and that works for us.”

Well if there is anything that young Bri’Asia learns from her reality star “GlamMa” it will be to stay true to herself despite what public opinion has to say. Other than that, fingers crossed that she doesn’t learn from her GlamMa’s crazy, inappropriate antics and aspire to become the next Real Housewife.
