President Obama Slow Jamming On Jimmy Fallon

Our President made an appearance on The Late Night Show With Jimmy Fallon, pandering to several important blocks of voters. Fallon’s show, which is usually taped in New York, visited the University Of North Carolina in Chapel Hill for this particular taping.

The students were lucky enough to experience the President slow jamming the news with Fallon and The Roots band. Obama hit on an issue every college student could relate to:  student loans, and he was able to deliver that message in a comedic, yet soulful song.

“The Preezy of the United Steezy” – as Fallon called him – highlighted that he reached across the aisle for Congress to keep the interest rates low for college students and keep college affordable. In comparison, he went on to say that Republicans said, ” We should be doing everything we can to pay down the national debt. Well, so long as it doesn’t involve taxing billionaires.”

The President put an exclamation on his message by dropping his mic on the stage.

” The Barackness Monster” as Fallon later referred to the President, also took twitter questions- when asked about marijuana he said, “Marijuana won’t be legalized anytime soon.”  Another tweeter asked, “What would he say to Mitt Romney if he saw him in person.”  “I’d say, Hey Mitt” Obama quipped.  He continued, “I’ve met him, but we’re not friends”, and the audience laughed.
