Columbia Pictures have just released the second full-length version of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ trailer which reveals more details and packs more action than the first one.
Five years after Marvel’s Spiderman 3, the franchise has dusted off the cobwebs and released an installment that delves into the origins of Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield). Fans will learn about what happened to Peter’s parents and meet Peter’s first love interest, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). Its hard to say from watching the trailer if Gwen is fully aware of her boyfriend’s secret identity.
Other stars besides Garfield and Stone include Denis Leary as Gwen’s father and a Spider-Man hunting police lieutenant , Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben, Sally Field and Aunt May, and Rhys Ifans as The Lizard.
The Amazing Spider-Man is directed by Marc Webb while Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves hold the writing credits. The 3D action thriller swings into theaters July 3rd of this year.
