Whitney Houston‘s mother Cissy Houston released her first gospel album since 1997 on Wednesday. According to Huff Post Black Voices, Cissy’s album is called “Walk on By Faith.” The album which include tracks like “Living Shall Not Be In Vain” was released through Harlem Records on iTunes.
The gospel legend lost her only daughter, “The Voice”, Whitney Houston this past February. Since the tragic passing, Cissy has remained relatively quiet only having done one interview absolving herself of guilt in her daughter’s death.
“There’s nothing I can do about it — nothing nobody can do about it. I know I did the best I could. I don’t blame myself.”
