R. Kelly’s ‘Single Ladies Tour’ in South Africa, has been moved from March 21 and 23, 2013 to the August 8 and 10 to coincide with the country’s Women’s Day long weekend, which resonates with the tour title.
Still, logistics were cited as the reason behind the postponement, which organizers say would also give the singer time to prepare the best concert for his South African audience.
“No doubt, fans will be disappointed, but we will keep you updated and informed”, says Vuyokazi Mhlophe, Gagasi FM marketing manager.
Gagasi FM was the radio media sponsor for the KZN leg of the R.Kelly tour.
R. Kelly’s last performance in South Africa was at Soccer City in Soweto, at the opening ceremony of the 2010 World Cup.
