Lil Uzi Vert decided that it would be the best thing for him to implant a massive diamond smack dab in the middle of his forehead, and, boy, does the internet have thoughts.
Although this isn’t the first time the 26-year-old “That’s It” rapper, born Symere Bysil Woods, has taken risks with his look, he genuinely shocked fans when he shared an Instagram video of himself vibing out with his extravagant body mod front and center, a follow-up to his Jan. 30 Twitter reveal. The rapper claims he spent $24 million on the nearly 11-carat rock, which he says he began paying for in 2017.
“I’ve been paying for a natural pink diamond from Elliot for years now. This one Stone cost so much I’ve been paying for it since 2017. That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond. A lot of M’s in my face,” he tweeted, followed by 24 money bag emojis.
During the same Twitter conversation with followers, he admitted that the jewel is currently his favorite material possession and that the amount he dropped on it is worth more than “all my cars together, plus home.”
The rapper’s alleged girlfriend City Girls artist JT has yet to comment on her on-again, off-again boo’s new addition but signaled that there is enough trouble brewing between the two without the additional bling-related drama based on a recent comment. When the “Do What I Want” artist tweeted, “I only love myself,” JT took offense and promptly replied, “Same here, f–k n—a!”
A fan responded to JT asking her to “Please stop letting this n—a embarrass you,” which was apparently the wrong thing to say, because the “Act Up” rapper snapped back with “Girl STFU he don’t be embarrassing he be in his feelings! He’ll be FINE! just like I would …embarrass who? Lol girl I’ll tear this s–t DOWN if I ever felt that way!”
The internet was just as brutally honest about how they felt about Uzi Vert’s implant as JT was about her feelings.
