Tami Roman‘s younger daughter Jazz Anderson recently celebrated her 24th birthday. In true motherly fashion, the former “Basketball Wives” cast member showered her daughter with love on her special day.
On Monday, June 29, Tami shared a video on Instagram that showed Jazz rapping in a series of music videos. “Happy Birthday @jazzanderson,” she wrote. “My baby girl! You make me smile and as your BIGGEST FAN, I put together a compilation of my faves. I respect your grind and all I pray for is that every dream of success that you have comes true. Mommy loves you!”
Almost instantly, fans gravitated toward the image and expressed the idea that Jazz looked just like her mother. One user wrote: “She’s so pretty and talented; that’s your twin Tami👏🏾 happy birthday to Jazz.” However, other people complimented her daughter’s lyrics. Someone said, “🗣A female Nipsey with the flow,” followed by another that wrote, “Jazz is like the Female Jay Z.”
Jazz seemingly got her love of music from her mother. Tami, an actress on “Carl Weber’s The Family Business,” has been in the music business since the early ’90s. The mother of two was one of four members in the former girl group Reality. The group was created in 1993, but the name was changed to Female in 1994. The women were signed under Mercury Records and scored a feature on the soundtrack album for the 1995 historical film “Panther.”
Just like her daughter, Tami appears to have a unique flow. The 50-year-old reality star launched her rap career as her alter ego Tatiana Trill during season 8 of “BBW.” Trill lives an extravagant lifestyle and is considered by fans to be a boss.
Tami and her ex-husband, retired NBA player Kenny Anderson, are parents to Jazz and her older sister Lyric Anderson. Tami is now a wife again after secretly marrying former NFL prospect Reginald “Reggie” Youngblood in 2018. The two do not have any children together, but Tami revealed in a February interview on “One on One with Keyshia Cole” that the two were considering surrogacy, explaining that she has suffered from three miscarriages.
