‘Power’ Creator Courtney Kemp Gifts Show Writers Customized Nike Sneakers As Season 6 Wraps

Ever since it was revealed that “Power” would be ending after its sixth season, show creator Courtney Kemp has been sharing some of the final days of shooting.

Last month, for example, she posted a photo of a clapperboard and captioned it “Last shot.” Then shortly after she shared a picture of her empty work chair and wrote “Thank you” to viewers.

Her latest post about the show ending is a photo of people wearing black and red custom Nike “Power” shoes. On one heel, the name of the series is written in black stitching and on the other the letters “PS6” are shown.

Kemp shared a photo of seven people all wearing the shoes, but there was no word whether they were part of the cast or crew.

“Wrap gift day,” Kemp wrote next to the post.

Afterwards, her followers shared their thoughts on the leather kicks, and words like “Dope,” “awesome” and “nice’ were peppered throughout their comments.

Plus, Kemp’s followers said those on the show were incredibly fortunate to walk away with such a cool wrap gift, while another person said Nike is the one who really benefited.

“Nike got lucky ❤️👍” that person wrote.

Meanwhile, Kemp shared the trailer for the sixth season of “Power” on Monday, which is centered around the lead character James “Ghost” St. Patrick, and people went crazy over it.

“I don’t know how you do what you do. You’re always blowing my mind. Love you, love it. 🔥🔥🔥,” one of her followers wrote.

“😲 😨😱 I can’t wait! I must admit after watchin that trailer I’m nervous & scared,” wrote another.

“That team of writers that you have assembled ain’t nothing to play with,” a third person commented. “They make it happen like nobody else right about now.”
