The reactions to R. Kelly‘s emotional interview with “CBS This Morning’s” Gayle King earlier this week are still coming in, and now some of his alleged victims have spoken out.
Kelly’s interview was the first time he’s talked to the press since he was charged with 10 counts of sexual abuse last month. The charges came after video tapes were handed to prosecutors that allegedly show him sexually abusing an underage girl.

During the interview, Kelly broke into tears, stood up and yelled at the camera, which scared Asante McGee, who used to live with him.
“When he started screaming it terrified me,” she told CBS News on Friday (March 8). “There was nothing I felt sorry about him for because I know the type of monster he is, and I know he would cry at the drop of a dime. He’s a great performer.”
And Dominique Kramer, who also lived with Kelly at the same time his current live-in girlfriends Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary were there, claimed he’d have the women “rehearse” before they spoke to their parents.
It’s also something Savage’s mother Jonjelyn Savage said when her daughter spoke to them on the few occasions since she’s been residing with Kelly. In fact, Jonjelyn Savage referred to those calls as “scripted.”
Kramer’s mother Michelle Kramer spoke out after Kelly’s interview as well and was also seen in the docu-series “Surviving R. Kelly” where she found her daughter.
The mother said her daughter could barely watch Kelly’s interview and almost threw the remote at the television set during certain parts.
“Everything he said when he jumped up, she’s like she remembers the rage,” the mom recalled. “When she wouldn’t do what he asked her to do or tell her to do, he’d get upset about something. You walked too slow, you did whatever and it was a punishment.”
Michelle Kramer also claimed that her daughter said Kelly would beat and starve her when he became upset, and when she arrived home she was 98 pounds, far less than the 125 pounds she weighed before leaving her mother.
Today, Dominique Kramer has been home for nine months and is currently seeing a therapist.
Kelly, meanwhile, was sent to jail on Wednesday after failing to pay $161,633 in child support, but his publicist Darryll Johnson said the singer plans to pay that amount on Friday (March 8) and be released.
