Tracee Ellis Ross and A$AP Rocky probably aren’t the first people you’d think to pair romantically, but fans seem to think the actress wants him.
Rocky is currently one of the models for Calvin Klein’s 2019 Spring Collection, and on Tuesday he shared one of the ads where he explained why he feels free.
“I feel extraordinary ’cause I’m free to be myself, and I think that’s what makes me feel free,” he stated. “I think I’m just great being pretty, man. I tell myself that every day.”
The Harlem rapper also posted one of the photos from the ad, which shows him shirtless with jeans sitting on a bicycle.
Ellis Ross seemed to enjoy the picture, because she added a smiling face emoji. Rocky then responded, tagged the “Black-ish” star and included a red heart emoji.
That certainly got social media buzzing, and some encouraged Ellis Ross to pursue the “Sundress” creator.
“@traceeellisross oh wow…. YES SUS GET U SOME ASAP A.S.A.P PEEEEEERRIOOODTT,” one Instagram user commented.
But there were seemingly more women who told Ellis Ross to stay away from Rocky because, one, they wanted him for themselves, and,two, they said she’s a little too senior for him.
Ellis Ross is 46 years old and Rocky is 30.
“You so fineeee😩😩 im tired of traceeee leave my man alone,” one person wrote. 😂😂😂😂
“auntie not this once,” a second person wrote. “you already let Dave east hit leave ASAP for us 😩”
Despite the chatter, Ellis Ross never indicated that she wanted to be with Rocky. In fact, she rarely talks about her dating life but did open up about being single and happy once.
“It’s sort of fascinating to be 45 and single and childless,” she told In Style last year. “Happily single, I should add. Not at home crying about it. These are very big and very personal questions that aren’t anyone’s business but that somehow, like the right to choose, become fodder for public conversation.”
