The “Queen of Hip Hop Soul” Mary J. Blige recently shook the Internet after celebrating her birthday with sizzling pictures of herself.
Blige celebrated her 48 birthday on Friday, January 11 by taking a scenic vacation to Los Cabos, Mexico on the beach. She took to Instagram on Saturday and posted a series of photos of herself soaking up the sun. She posed for the Gram in a pink-stripped and dotted leopard print bikini that showed off her lean physique. She paired her swimwear with pair of bedazzled shades while letting her blonde beach waves hang down.
The singer also brought her birthday celebration in with her loved ones. In Blige’s third photo, she’s accompanied by a large group of friends who also flossed their suits along the beach-side.

She wrote in her photo caption, “LIVING MY BEST F–KIN LIFE!”
Fans of the “Just Fine” artist swamped her social media and fawned over how stunning she looked in her bikini pictures.
One fan commented, “Omg Happy Birthday and Body goals. You look amazing 💖💖!”

Blige appears to be starting the new year off great after regaining her life from her divorce with long-time husband and former manager Kendu Isaacs. She split from her ex-husband in 2016 after being married for 12 years and finalized her divorce in June 2018.
Blige told the Guardian during a 2017 interview that she felt lost as her marriage began to crumble. She even started to suffer from low self-esteem and questioned if whether or not she wanted to make music again.
“I just wasn’t sure about anything. If someone chips away at your self-esteem and it’s so low that you don’t even know you can do what you do…” she said. “When it comes to music now, I know my gut is great. That’s what I lost, my gut and my gift. But I got it back. It’s back now.”
Blige also kicked 2019 with a bang after starring in the highly anticipated Netflix series “Umbrella Academy” which will be released in February. She will play a villain named Cha-Cha who is a”ruthless and unorthodox hit-woman who travels through time to kill assigned targets.” The film centers around a gang of estranged superhero siblings who will reunite to catch their father’s killer.
