Ray J Heads Back to School to Grow His Tech Company

Ray J has decided to become a college-educated man and go back to school and get that degree. On Sunday, Ray J announced on Instagram that he will be going to school at the HBCU Philander Smith College.

In his caption he wrote, “God is working!! I chose to enroll in
Philander Smith College.” He also spoke about getting to know the students at the campus and being inspired but them. “After speaking to the students about perseverance, hard work and being self-motivated, I was very inspired. I spent 3 consecutive days on campus engaging with the students and President Roderick Smothers.”

The 37-year-old also revealed that he would be going back to school to further his education to improve his business. “I’m very familiar with the HBCU experience because my parents attended HBCUs. I welcome the opportunity to further my business skills as I continue to grow and expand my technology company @RayconGlobal”

Fans seemed to be supportive of Ray J’s choice.

Back in 2017, Raycon Global signed a $31 million distribution deal. In a statement about the deal the singer said, “The world is moving towards renewable green energy, and electric transportation is a big part of that.” He continued, “With the Raycon movement, we are going to make sure we are one of the first ones there.”
