Nelly’s rape accuser has filed a sexual assault and defamation lawsuit against him after refusing to testify on trial. Her refusal meant the criminal rape case against the rapper was dropped but now, she’s going after him again.
Monique Greene said she worked at a Seattle club where Nelly was performing on Friday, Oct. 6. She was off the clock and consuming alcoholic beverages when Nelly later invited her to an after-party, according to documents obtained by TMZ. The two arrived at his tour bus in a Walmart parking lot and they headed to his bedroom. There, Nelly allegedly began masturbating in front of her. Greene claimed Nelly then had oral and vaginal sex with her against her will. She alleged that he refused to wear a condom, which she mentioned in an effort to deter him, and he continued intercourse. After screaming to get off the bus, a member of Nelly’s crew pushed her off the vehicle. The rapper allegedly threw a $100 bill at her and said, “Bye, bye.”
Greene called the cops, who arrested Nelly for second-degree rape, and she had a rape kit performed. This comes after Greene neglected to testify against the “Dilemma” performer in October, according to her attorney who questioned if her client would be believed.
“People are saying horrible things already,” lawyer Karen Koehler said. “She cannot handle this. She is about to break.”
As for the defamation suit, Greene claims Nelly’s legal team engaged in mudslinging in which they claimed she was only seeking “money, fame and notoriety.”

Nelly’s lawyer, Scott Rosenblum, told TMZ it was “no surprise that Ms. Green filed a lawsuit against Nelly seeking money after we announced our intention to hold her accountable. We always believed her accusation was motivated by greed.”
Rosenblum says Nelly plans to countersue.
And while Greene denies it, several people online see her new suit as a money grab as Nelly preps his own lawsuit.

You’re going to start to see this become the trend. Director Paul Haggis has already filed a lawsuit against a woman he said is trying to extort money filing fake claims of sexual assault in the wake of all these accusations coming out. It was it’s only a matter of time.
