Four White Men Ordered to Pay $840K for Racial Murder of James Anderson, Guilty of Targeting Other Black People in Mississippi

In 2011, James Craig Anderson was murdered in Jackson Mississippi by a group of white teenagers.

The teens were a part of a group of 10 young who plead guilty to making trips to Jackson, which they called “Jafrica,” to target African-Americans.

Four of the convicted men were ordered to pay $840,000 to Anderson’s estate as restitution for the Jim Crow-style killing.
