Alabama and Florida State still hold the top two spots on this week’s BCS Poll. Baylor moved up to the No. 4 slot barely being edged out by No. 3 Ohio State.
Baylor beat Texas Tech Saturday to remain undefeated at 9-0. The Texas team only sits a microscopic .0013 behind the Buckeyes in the BCS standings. In last week’s poll, the gap was .0308 between the teams.
No. 2 Florida State is also getting closer to No. 1 Alabama, gaining 25 percent. Both teams, Alabama and Florida St. are comfortably ahead of the other contenders, which may be a clear indication of who will play in the VIZIO BCS National Championship, if they can win the rest of their games.
This past week, Florida State routed Syracuse 59-3, while Alabama beat Mississippi State 20-7.
Florida State and Ohio State are both undefeated at 10-0, but the Seminoles are ahead of the Buckeyes by .0792, which pretty much solidifies the two front-runners for the national title.
Oregon is No. 5 with one loss, followed closely by No. 6 Auburn, No. 7 Clemson and No. 8 Missouri.
