It’s Nothing: Pacman Jones Pays Fine for Disorderly Conduct

Bengals Pacman Jones

Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones has settled his debt to the justice system for a disorderly conduct charge he received earlier this week. Police accused the Cincinnati Bengals cornerback of making offensive comments, which ultimately led to the player’s arrest.

State highway patrol Lt. Anne Ralston said Jones said something during the traffic stop that was “likely to be offensive or to cause inconvenience, annoyance or alarm to persons of ordinary sensibilities.” Jones, on the other hand, said it was the officer who provoked the situation, causing it to get out of hand.

Jones ended up paying a $130 fine Thursday, an official in the Hamilton County Municipal Court clerk’s office said Friday.

The Bengals player was arrested early Monday morning, when the car in which he was riding was pulled over for speeding, Ralston said.

The driver was also arrested. She was cited for driving under the influence. Both Jones and the driver were released on their own recognizance.
