According to The Oklahoman, Liggins punched Jasmine Horton in the face, then dropped a fan and an Xbox 360 on her head. Their 2-year-old son was in the room during the altercation.
Horton had visible injuries on her hands, fingers, chest and back. Liggins was detained by police on Saturday and booked under domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and domestic abuse in the presence of a minor.
The general manager of the Thunder, Sam Presti, said in a statement, “We reiterate the serious nature of this issue,” before stating that the Thunder has “no further comment at this time.”
