Sean Paul & Damian Marley are Inciting a ‘Riot’

After releasing a remix of his single “Entertainment” featuring Nicki Minaj, dancehall superstar Sean Paul follows up with “Riot” featuring Damian Marley. The song is sure to make another splash, as Sean Paul and Marley ask for justice for youth, or else a “Riot” will ensue—all over  pulsating beats. According to complex.com:

“Remember when we told you reggae was running things in 2013? That takeover hasn’t stopped, as evidenced by Sean Paul’s new record ‘Riot’ featuring Damian Marley.

“Produced by Hard Work, the song blends elements of EDM and hip-hop into heavy reggae with Paul and Marley stealing the show through their back-and-forth verses that are drenched in Jamaican slang. Shame on those who can’t get hype to this.”

“Riot” is a great display of two of Jamaica’s most famous artists creating a compelling, collaborative effort. And the beat has the right blend of traditional reggae, dancehall and dub step elements.

Sean Paul is currently working on a new album which is not yet titled, but is scheduled for later this year.
