Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s baby girl, North West, was reportedly showered with gifts by R&B Queen Beyonce, around the same time the new parents turned down a $3 million baby photo deal.
When Kim and Kanye welcomed their baby girl into the world about two weeks ago, we figured she would be spoiled by the Kardashian Klan, but it seems like Baddie Bey and hubby Jay-Z are taking over the spoiling duties as they showered the new baby with $7,500 in gifts.
Mr. and Mrs. Carter have been known to shower their own 17-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, with lavish gifts that aren’t exactly practical for a child her age and it seems like they’re giving that same rather unreasonable monetary attention to baby North.
According to The Sun, Bey and HOV made a personal visit to drop off their expensive baby gifts, which included Christian Dior baby booties and a silver Elsa Peretti Padova baby set that has the infant’s name engraved on it – which means the name North West is here 
to stay.
The tabloid is suggesting that Jay-Z really wanted to give the couple the best baby gifts because Yeezy is, after all, his best friend.
“Kanye is one of Jay-Z’s closest friends so he wanted to get the best gift,” a source reported. “They’ve had a girl themselves, so they know the right type of present.”
The Grown Woman songstress has already given the famous Kardashian a blinged-out, Swarovski crystal-studded high chair for her baby shower, although she couldn’t personally attend the garden-themed shindig. The elaborate gift comes as no surprise after she cashed out for a pair of Tom Ford heels for her baby girl who is probably just getting a real hang of walking.
The good news is that the expensive gifts seem to be a sign that Kimmy K and Baddie Bey aren’t beefing after all.
“Any bad blood between the ladies has all been brushed under the carpet now Kim’s a mom,” another source told The Sun. “Beyonce was even sharing weight-loss tips with her.”
Mrs. Carter may also be sharing advice on how to keep the baby’s life private because the media still hasn’t managed to get a single snapshot of Kimye’s baby girl and the couple isn’t accepting any offers from publications to buy the photos.
We’re sure Kris Jenner is losing tons of sleep at night because Kimmy and ‘Ye turned down a $3 million offer from an Australian magazine for a picture of their baby girl.
“Kanye’s been adamant about not having the baby on the show,” one insider told Us Weekly. “He was serious when he said, ‘North isn’t America’s baby,’ so he may not do anything.”
Good pals of the “New Slaves” rapper say he has definitely been hit with the new-daddy syndrome and has become super protective of his family. They said that baby Nori is all West talks about anymore.
“Kim told him it was good to get out,” one pal of the rapper said about Kanye’s tendency to stay inside with the baby all day. “He couldn’t wait to get back. North is all they talk about.”
Frankly, that is refreshing news considering how frequently Kanye was absent during Kim K’s pregnancy. Great to see he’s finally warming up to fatherhood, despite the fact that it’s a task so daunting that even Jay-Z is afraid of it.
