On this week’s The Big Bang Theory season 6, episode 22, “The Proton Resurgence,” Sheldon and Leonard hire Professor Proton, the host of their favorite childhood TV show, to perform. Also, Howard and Bernadette run into trouble babysitting Raj’s dog.
The Big Bang Theory revolves around Leonard and Sheldon, who are brilliant physicists, and the kind of “beautiful minds” that understand how the universe works. But with all their smarts, the geniuses are socially inadequate, which gives them big problems in interacting with people, especially women. When the free-spirited beauty named Penny, enters their lives by moving in next door, Leonard begins to change, spending his days looking for a love. While Sheldon is content with spending his nights hanging with their socially inept friends, who are his fellow CalTech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali, Leonard sees Penny as a possible interest.
