On this week’s The Big Bang Theory season 6, episode 21, “The Closure Alternative,” Sheldon feels lost after one of his favorite TV shows gets canceled too soon and Amy tries to help him get over his compulsive need for closure. Meanwhile, Raj discovers a secret about his new love interest, Lucy.
The Big Bang Theory revolves around Leonard and Sheldon, who are brilliant physicists, and the kind of “beautiful minds” that understand how the universe works. But with all their smarts, the geniuses are socially inadequate, which gives them big problems in interacting with people, especially women. When the free-spirited beauty named Penny, enters their lives by moving in next door, Leonard begins to change, spending his days looking for a love. While Sheldon is content with spending his nights hanging with their socially inept friends, who are his fellow CalTech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali, Leonard sees Penny as a possible interest.
