On this week’s Shameless (US) season 3, episode 10 “Civil Wrongs,” while Fiona’s job has brought structure into her life, things fall apart when Jimmy drops a bomb on her. Frank enjoys his newfound celebrity as the face of the gay rights movement but discovers there’s even more money to be made (and sex to be had) by switching teams – again.
The series meet the fabulously dysfunctional Gallagher family. Dad’s a drunk, Mom split long ago, eldest daughter Fiona tries to hold the family together. Eldest son Philip (Lip) trades his physics tutoring skills for sexual favors from neighborhood girls. Middle son Ian is gay. Youngest daughter Debbie is stealing money from her UNICEF collection. Ten-year-old Carl is a budding sociopath and an arsonist, and toddler Liam is – well, he might actually be black, but nobody has a clue how.
Shameless (US) premiered on January 9, 2011, and stars William H. Macy, Emmy Rossum, Justin Chatwin, Ethan Cutkosky, Shanola Hampton, Steve Howey and Emma Kenney.
