Jennifer Aniston is taking another stab at marriage. People reported that on Friday, August 10th the actress got engaged to her boyfriend of a year, the actor/screenwriter Justin Theroux.
“Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage,” said his rep according to People.
Aniston, 43, co-starred with Theroux, 41, in the romantic comedy Wonderlust, which came out in theaters earlier this year.
As it is well known, Aniston’s first marriage was to Brad Pitt, who ended their five-year marriage to get with Angelina Jolie in 2005.
Theroux, on the other hand, dated costume designer Heidi Bivens for 14 long years.
Jennifer Aniston is currently shooting the comedy We’re The Millers, which is scheduled to hit theaters next year. She will be working alongside Ed Helms and Jason Sudeikis.
Justin Theroux, who wrote the scripts for Iron Man 2 and Tropic Thunder, has just completed the script for the Zoolander sequel, which stars Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, and Jonah Hill. He is also set to direct the film, which is expected to hit theaters sometime in 2014.
