The disappearance of Nick Stahl, the actor who played John Connor in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines does not appear to involve foul play according to a report by the Los Angeles Times.
As previously posted, Nick Stahl was reported missing by his wife after she had not seen him since May 9th. LAPD says that Stahl had been frequenting a drug infested part of town called skid row, but doesn’t think his disappearance was a result of dubious activities.
Officers working in that jurisdiction were given a photo and told to keep an eye out for him. A possible sighting of Stahl on Wednesday was determined later to be a false report.
Stahl’s wife, Rose Murphy, reported him missing shortly after 10 a.m. Monday to Hollywood Division officers, spokesman Richard French said. Murphy filed court papers in February, claiming the couple had been separated since January. She requested limited visitations by Stahl with their 2-year-old daughter, Marlo. She also asked for proof he hadn’t abused drugs within 24 hours before seeing her, according to KTLA-TV.
Director Randall Cole, who worked with Stahl during the filming of 388 Arletta Avenue, told People magazine that the actor showed no signs he was having trouble with drugs.
“He was fantastic — not a single problem,” Cole told the magazine. “He was a total professional and knew his lines. There was no diva behavior at all.”
