The Amazing Spider-Man premiere is less than two months away, and because of the success of The Avengers, Marvel must be rubbing hands in anticipation of another big pay day. Ahead of Amazing Spider Man’s July 3rd release, a new video has surfaced that reveals some never before seen footage featuring Rhys Infan’s Lizard villain.
The video hails form the infamous Oscorp Industries, owned by Norman Osborn, the villain in the first Tobey Maguire Spider-Man flick. Rhys Ifan and director Marc Webb discuss Ifans’s character in the film ,Dr. Curt Connors, and his dangerous alter-ego The Lizard. Along with the interview it also includes new footage that delivers clues on how Connors makes his transformations.
The comic book movie focuses mainly on the mysteries surrounding Peter Parker’s life and his missing parents. His search for answers leads him straight to Dr. Curt Connors, his father’s former partner.
The Amazing Spider-Man is directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield (as Peter Parker / Spider-Man), Emma Stone (as Gwen Stacy), Rhys Ifans (as Dr. Curt Connors / The Lizard), Dennis Leary (as George Stacy), and Martin Sheen and Sally Field (as Uncle Ben Parker / Aunt May Parker, respectively).
