Alan Ritchson has just booked a role on the network pilot Super Fun Night. The show is about three geeky female friends and their mission to have a successful and fun night, every Friday. Ritchson will play the beach bod man-0-licious clown boyfriend of Kimmie’s younger sister, who is described as a slimmer, prettier version of her older sister.
Bridesmaids’ Rebel Wilson will write, co-executive produce, and star as Kimmie. Conan O’Brien, Jeff Ross and David Kissinger are also executive producing. If the Warner Bros project is picked up it will air on CBS.
Ritchson is best known for his role as Aquaman on CW’s Smallville and he has also worked three seasons on Spike TV’s Blue Mountain State. In the past, the actor has made several appearances on TV shows which include popular series such as 90210 and CSI Miami.
The actor is represented by UTA, Michael Yanni Management and Hansen Jacobson.
