Tiffany Hines has joined the cast of ABC’s upcoming drama pilot Americana.
Americana centers on a famous fashion designer Robert Soulter, who will be played by Anthony LaPaglia, and his family business. Robert welcomes a new young designer Alice Clarke, who will be played by Ashley Greene, into their operation. Thereafter, Alice decides to change a few things at the company.
Hines will play the role of Shane Kelly, who is a gorgeous medical student and Alice’s best friend. Shane is recruited by Alice to model in a fashion show, and results in her life taking a few drastic turns.
The actress joins LaPaglia, Greene, Natalie Mendoza, and Ken Olin in the ABC Studios pilot.
Tiffany Hines is best known for her role as Michelle Welton on the Fox series Bones and Jaden on The CW’s Nikita.
Nick Pepper and Phillip Noyce are set to direct the project and Mark Gordon is on board to executive produce.
Michael Seitzman will pen the show.
