'Comic-Con Episode Four: A Fan's Hope' Trailer Just Released

Morgan Spurlock presents his new documentary Comic-Con Episode Four:  A Fan’s Hope. Comic-Con is a fairly new and increasingly popular event that has swelled to over 125,000 participants in recent years.

Yes, the event is big, but the director wanted to bring back the grassroots method and chose to keep the viewing intimate to a handful of fans and participants.

Imagine a place where vulcans and goblins get along, and where wizards and vampires can be themselves; that’s Comic-Con San Diego. What started as a fringe comic book convention for 500 fans has grown into THE pop culture event of the year that influences every form of entertainment, now attended by over 140,000 strong.  Comic-Con Episode Four: A Fan’s Hope explores this pop-cultural phenomenon by following the lives of five attendees as they descend upon the ultimate geek mecca at the San Diego event in 2010.Comic-Con Episode Four: A Fan’s Hopehits theaters April 6th, 2012.
