Another one of “Empire’s” Lyons boys got into some legal trouble.
Bryshere Gray, who plays Hakeem Lyon on the Fox hip-hop drama, was arrested in Chicago Thursday on a driving infraction, according to TMZ.
Karie James, a CPD spokeswoman, said when Gray was pulled over he had a temporary license plate on his 2014 Rolls-Royce that didn’t match. The vehicle wasn’t insured either, plus the actor didn’t have a driver’s license on him.
Ultimately, Gray was slapped with a ticket for not having a license and another for the uninsured Rolls. Additionally, he was arrested on a misdemeanor charge for the non-registration.
Gray plays the younger brother of the character Jamal Lyon on “Empire,” played by Jussie Smollett, who in February was also arrested in Chicago and charged with 16 felony counts.
Smollett was accused of lying about being assaulted in a racial and homophobic attack, but the charges were dropped in March, which drew heavy criticism.
As for Smollett’s 25-year-old co-star, he’s already been released, and people had a lot to say about his mugshot that recently surfaced — mainly because he had braided extensions and facial hair.
“Oh wow … what happened to him !!!??,” someone wrote about his disheveled look.
“I thought he had an upcoming role for Wolverine from X-men for a sec 😩🤷🏾♀️,” another person commented.
“Huh? When he start looking like this,” another person chimed in.
But there were a handful of people who said they liked the new look and it’s something the actor should keep.
Gray hasn’t made mention of the arrest yet, at least not on his Twitter or Instagram page.
