Cyn Santana and her fiancé Joe Budden are clearly experiencing a few relationship woes.
It was reported last week that the couple called it quits after four months of engagement after the pair scraped images of each other from their social media accounts. The “Love and Hip Hop: New York” actress also posted a video of herself jamming to Beyoncé’s song “Don’t Hurt Yourself,” which centers on infidelity.
After the mass of speculation, Budden, 38, finally addressed the breakup allegations over the weekend, during an onstage appearance in Tampa, Florida. He claimed that the two hadn’t spoken “in a lil’ while,” but assured the audience that they had not broken up.
Well, it seems Santana, 26, had a different take on her ostensible fiancé’s remarks. She took to Twitter on Monday and responded to a fan who asked and quoted Budden, “Can you break up without saying it?”
The new mother replied, “Actions speak louder than words. People have months broken up and don’t even know it. But God reveals all truths.”
The pair have been very cryptic about their alleged breakup, and it doesn’t seem they’ll be giving a straight answer to fans anytime soon.
Budden did admit during his Florida show that Santana moved out of their home with her stuff and said he didn’t have a problem with her doing so.
“I didn’t take it no way when she moved all her s–t out of the house,” he said adding that the two never officially said they were over.
“Words are important,” he noted. “Neither one of us said it. Now, with that said, we haven’t spoken in a little while.”
The pair got engaged in December and share 1-year-old Lexington Budden together.
Their relationship drama has fueled quite a bit of reactions from social media users.
“My mom always said women usually break up MONTHS before saying so. It takes a while for the heart to catch up with the mind! But, I’m sending you love and clarity 💯.”
“You can leave someone while still being with them/sharing a home with them/raising kids with them. It takes a little while for both to realize the relationship is over, the attention is there, etc.”
“Sad to see you erased all Joe pictures, not wearing your ring, & has changed your name 😥 Hopefully you and Joe can work things out 🙌🏾.”
“I Thought Black men treated latina’s better? 🤔. What happened sis?”
